COASTAL RESILIENCE SPECIALIST
Laura Engeman provides general support for the Center and manages several of its coastal climate adaptation initiatives and research partnerships. As a joint appointment with California Sea Grant Extension, she also focuses on improving the application of science modeling, observations, and tools to guide climate change policies and investments. Prior to joining the Center, Laura served as director of the San Diego Regional Climate Collaborative. She brings 15 years of experience in environmental management and policy at the local, state, national and international level to the Center and has an MA in International Environmental Policy from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey.
