Julia R. Brown Fund

PURPOSE

The Julia R. Brown Fund for Climate Change Research and Education provides supplemental support for graduate and undergraduate students to attend climate conferences and workshops, to develop climate-related educational material stemming from their research, and to participate in community projects related to climate change impacts and adaptation.

GRADUATE

 

Graduate Student Applications
Graduate student applications are received on a rolling basis throughout the academic year.
Applications will be reviewed by the committee within three weeks and the awards made available on the first of the following month. 

Eligibility
Recipients must be registered Scripps graduate students in good standing, at the time of the award and at the time the funds will be expended.  Students submitting a second application in the same fiscal year will receive lower priority. Total funding for any student will not exceed $3000 over the course of the student’s time at UC San Diego.

UNDERGRADUATE

 

Undergraduate Student Applications
