Julia R. Brown Fund

The Julia R. Brown Fund for Climate Change Research and Education provides supplemental support for graduate and undergraduate students to attend climate conferences and workshops, to develop climate-related educational material stemming from their research, and to participate in community projects related to climate change impacts and adaptation.

GRADUATE

Graduate student applications are received on a rolling basis throughout the academic year.

Recipients must be UCSD students in good standing at the time of the award and at the time the funds will be expended.  Total funding for any student will not exceed $3000 over the course of the student’s time at UC San Diego.

UNDERGRADUATE

Undergraduate student applications are received on a rolling basis throughout the academic year.

Recipients must be registered in the Climate minor program. Total funding for any student will not exceed $3000 over the course of the student’s time at UC San Diego.
