Dr. Margaret Leinen Speaks on Plastic Pollution in Vietnam as U.S. Science Envoy

On May 7, the U.S. Embassy and Consulate hosted “A Mini-Conference on the Marine Environment & Plastic Pollution” featuring a speech by Dr. Margaret Leinen, U.S. Science Envoy and Director of Scripps Institution of Oceanography.

Dr. Leinen’s speech was followed by a film screening of different media covering the mini-conference topic and a panel discussion of experts from non-governmental organizations working to reduce the regional plastic and trash pollution issues.
