The Center for Climate Change Impacts and Adaptation welcomes six new faculty members to the team, as an effort by UC San Diego to introduce interdisciplinary approaches to the science of climate change. As part of the University’s cross-campus research theme, “Understanding and Protecting the Planet”, each researcher has a joint appointment with Scripps Institution of Oceanography and another department on campus. They also form a key component of the team at the new Center for Climate Change Impacts and Adaptation.
